What is meant by the term bioidentical hormones?
The term “bioidentical hormones” refers to hormones that are identical to those produced naturally by specialist glands in the body such as the ovaries, testes, adrenal glands, thyroid and pancreas. The bioidentical hormone, testosterone has the exact chemical fingerprint as that which is produced by the testes in men. Many pharmaceutical hormones are not bioidentical, but are actually synthetic analogues which may have similar effects as bioidentical hormones. In the case of synthetic testosterone analogues, they do not have as wide a spectrum of effects as bioidentical testosterone. They are generally stronger in their anabolic effects and they have unwanted side effects on the skin, testes and liver compared to the bioidentical hormone testosterone.
How do I know if I need testosterone?
You may have noticed changes in your mood, your thoughts, your muscle strength, your body shape, your sexual arousal and/or sexual function and your energy levels. Changes in these areas provide clues to a possibility of low testosterone. Your doctor can do a blood test to determine if levels are in the lower range. Taking our low-testosterone symptoms test will also establish the need for testosterone supplementation.

What safety checks do I need before starting AndroForte® 5% or AndroForte® 2% Testosterone Cream?
Your doctor must perform a physical examination of your prostate gland and conduct a blood test to measure the PSA (prostate specific antigen). This is to ensure that you do not have prostate cancer. Testosterone should not be used if there is prostate cancer or any irregularities. If you have chronic liver or kidney disease, testosterone should only be used with strict medical supervision.

If the letter of the law is observed then the importation of prescription medicines into the U.S. is not strictly legal. However there is a 'discretionary' provision in FDA policy which provides the flexibility for private individuals to import medicine for personal use under certain circumstances and if they have a valid prescription for it. For detailed information see this link to the FDA General Guidance Section relating to Importation of drugs
What about U.S. Customs?
Many millions of US citizens have been satisfactorily supplied discounted medicines via the Internet. However, you must make a personal assessment as to whether you wish to use the TestoCreams service based on your knowledge of the local laws regarding the importation of medicines. An information link that will provide you with additional information is available below. The main desire of US customs is:

1: to have control of commercial activity (i.e. the importation of goods for resale) and 2: to protect US citizens from personal harm or financial risk as a result of involvement with unscrupulous Internet merchants. Neither situation is an issue with a TestoCreams order. For information about US Customs please click here.
